Tuesday the 15th May 2012
Today we will start writing poetry about our special place.
Yesterday we had to draw a picture of the special place. I started drawing a creeper (minecraft beast) and it's going well.
It's probably not going to be very good.
I'm not a poet.

Winter School Uniform.

Winter is here and it is starting to get cold in the frosty mornings. The School uniform has changed for winter and you might need to know about the change.

The girls wear black tights a skirt or pinafore icebreakers go underneath the sports top (they have to be black everything).

Boys have a choice too. They can wear the grey shorts or trousers (lined or unlined). The same as girls a icebreaker and sports top on top.

BLACK SOCKS ARE ALOUD BUT NO OTHER COLOUR!!!!

ART IS FUN

On Friday we did art the art was a about the holy sprit

Frist: we got into groups Miss Starkey told us to do ether do wind, water, fire and the holy spirit and the holy cross.

Next: we glued and cut the pieces from magazines to the water wind and fire.

Last: we put the water fire and wind on the wall for display for people to see

Netball

On Saturday the 5th of May there were netball games for the year 3-4 and 5-6 teams. First there was a coaching clinic from 9:00-10:00.then we had our games. I was in the year five-six team and we had 1 win and 1 loss.  By Isobel Smith          

                                      

MY PARTY

On   Friday it was my birthday I invited Drew, McKay, Laurie and Lukas. We watched star wars the clone wars, Harry  potter 1 and a Tintin cartoon and played soccer .It was awesome.  

BENS PARTY

On Friday I went to Bens birthday party it was a lot of fun we watched stars wars the clone the clone wars we opened presents ate lollies played soccer watched harry potter and watched tintin. I got ben a star wars slinger.I bet you would have wanted to come as well.

Mrs O'Neil

The New Teacher!!!!!!

Mrs O’Neil is our new teacher she is the new principal of Religious studies. She is now teaching Room 2 and if you poke your head in the door you can see she is very nice and is already feeling welcomed with all the happy smiles inside that little classroom.

She has got a brilliant start to our school and is making the children in her classroom smart, polite cheerful kind kids and I hope she feels welcomed.

LIBRARY

I went to the library on Friday with room 5 and 6. We had to walk to the library. At the librar get  some booksy we  had  to.

Last Thursday the year 6 7 8 netball team had 2 netball games at mac. They had a game aganst   black and white and lost 8 to 9 to red but they really tried and had a grate game GO holy family

Anzac

Firstly you put all the ingredients in a bowl.

• oats
• golden syrrup
• suger
•  melted butter
• boiling water
• flour
• coconut

Next you stir together.



Then we put them into a ball then flatten it out.


After that put it in the oven for 15 min


finaly we ate.

Soccer Sunday

On Sunday my family went Queenstown for soccer. The first game we  won against Queenstown falcons but we lost against Queenstown titans. we are tying in fourth. Right after we finished our last game it started raining and bens team had to play in the rain. After our last  game we went to the pool while we were there I saw Laurie.
